Data stays in the EU
The hosted service runs in Google Cloud in Belgium (europe-west1). Our company is in Canada, which the EU recognises as providing adequate data protection.
Verdicts, not data
Disclosed attributes are deleted within the hour. You keep the verdict and the record that you asked.
Fail closed
An unreachable revocation list or an unknown provider produces a refusal with a reason, never an assumed yes. Alerts fire as soon as an EU trusted list becomes unreachable.

Checked against the right EU list
Personal IDs must chain to the EU PID Providers list, driving licences to the public-body list. Credentials and issuer certificates are both checked for revocation.
Your checks are yours alone
A verification can be read only with the API key that started it. Any other key sees nothing, not even that it exists.
