VerySafe Wallet — app privacy

What the wallet application stores on your device, and what leaves it. This is the disclosure the app stores require, written to match what the software actually does.

  • Your credentials stay on your device

Credentials and the private keys that prove them are held in encrypted storage on the phone, with key material in the platform's secure store — Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android. They are not copied to our servers.

  • We do not operate an account for you

The wallet has no sign-up, no username and no password. It is unlocked with a PIN you set, and optionally biometrics, both of which are checked on the device.

  • Messages are relayed, not read

To receive credentials while the app is closed, the wallet uses a mediator service that holds encrypted messages until it collects them. The mediator can see that a message is waiting and for which connection; it cannot read the contents.

  • You choose what to share, every time

A verifier's request names the attributes it wants and the reason, and nothing is sent until you agree. Declining is always available and is not reported to anyone.

  • No advertising, no analytics SDKs

The app contains no advertising identifiers and no third-party analytics. It is free, and it is not funded by anything it learns about you.
